Zurich Connected Cars improved notifications at the Last Release
Zurich Connected Cars launches the last release of its ready-made inventory management platform version 1.8. The updates of the new release focus on improvements of notifications and help to enhance the customer experience of the dealerships.
Zurich Connected Cars 1.8 includes the following functions:
- Check Engine Light notifications. Now it’s possible to subscribe to the alerts when Malfunction Indicators Lamps (such as Check Engine) are turned on. It can help to avoid situations when the car buyer is confused about these lights on the cluster before the test-drive. The feature is great for pre-owned cars.
- Custom sounds for push notifications. Since now all the push notifications from the mobile applications are different from the default system sounds. Each sound is specific per notification type, for instance, “engine activity notification” sound differs from “low battery level”. If you hear sounds at night you will know for sure what is the current notification.
- Battery Level notifications. We fixed issues caused by battery level drops during the engine start. Since now it’ll no longer trigger alerts set up to track battery level.
Also, Zurich Connected Cars fixed some minor bugs. Firmware and the portal are already automatically updated for current customers.
